Douglas Wright

Douglas T. Wright, O.C., is President Emeritus and Adjunct Professor of Engineering at the University of Waterloo. A founding member of the Prime Minister's National Advisory Board on Science and Technology and of the Ontario Premier's Council on Science and Technology, he was also appointed as the representative of the Government of Canada to the Council of Ministers of Education. He is an Officer in the Order of Canada, a Chevalier in the National Order of Merit (France), and has received the Gold Medal of the Canadian Council of Professional Engineers.
